Cutler Night at the Camden People’s Theatre

Forest Voices is excited to be participating in a special event at Camden People’s Theatre to celebrate the life and work of Scotland’s alternative national poet, Ivor Cutler. Whether you know Cutler’s stuff well or you’ve never heard of him, the evening will be a fantastic chance to hear a selection of his poems and songs by actors, musicians and artists, including the team behind 2014’s award-nominated NTS and Vanishing Point show, The Beautiful Cosmos of Ivor Cutler. The evening kicks off at 7.30pm, and £10 tickets are available here. Just remember to applaud at half-volume… We hope to see you there!

And the total is…

We had a fantastic evening singing and dancing our way around Forest Gate, and raised £159.86 for the Disability and Development Partners. This is a UK-based charity that works with partners in in post conflict Angola and Mozambique, in Ethiopia and India to campaign against landmines and distribute prosthetic limbs. More about DDPUK here. Congratulations one and all, and a very Merry Christmas!
